In this thesis published in 2010 by the Department of Physics of the University of Strathclyde, PhD Student Kenneth Gillespie Hay developed and operated a spectrometer based on quantum cascade (QC) lasers performing absorption spectroscopy to measure specific gas concentration in the atmosphere. You will find references to Agilent digitisers on pages 39 and 75 but above this mention what is interesting is that the application spectrum of digitiser widens even more. We are looking forward to seeing further researches in environment monitoring since at the end of the day it’s the reason why these instruments are developed.
