DOCSIS 3.1 Test Solution now available

Back in June the modular team announced a portfolio of Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification (DOCSIS) hardware and software test solutions for generating and analyzing signals up to a bandwidth of 192 MHz which includes our digitizers. The test solutions are used by R&D engineers to test transmitters, receivers and components against the requirements set forth in the DOCSIS 3.1 specification.

Wideband Digital Receiver now with Advanced Open FPGA Design Flow

Things are moving fast still. This week eesof and high-speed digitzer team made a joint announcement as the M9703A AXIe 12-bit high-speed digitizer/wideband digital receiver’s  FPGA’s can now be accessed with SystemVue electronic design automation (EDA) environment.

Best in test #6: processing with Xilinx Virtex-6 FPGA’s

You are FPGA developer and along with what has been exposed lately on this blog, some serious innovations were brought in and around the on-board data processing units (DPU) or more commonly called FPGA’s that the M9703A carries (the M9703A counts no less than 4 Xilink Virtex-6  FPGA’s each unit supporting the on-board signal processing of 2 channels).
